Diane Bay is an artist and writer who has authored a memoir, "Finding Karen Black," about connecting with her birth mother - a 1970's Hollywood actress. Bay studied graphic arts and creative writing at the College of DuPage near Chicago. Bay now lives in Benton with her husband, Rich.
During the event, "Airport 1975" and "Five Easy Pieces" will be shown in the background. Bay will do a short reading and Q&A, beginning at 3 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served and copies of the book will be available for sale and for autographing.
