Mission Statement:

The mission of the Marshall County Arts Commission is to insure the inclusion of the cultural heritage of the arts in Marshall County, aid in providing venue opportunities for arts presentations by and for the citizens of Marshall County and assist in securing financial support for these provisions. The Commission seeks to serve as a catalyst for the development of an appreciation for the arts as a whole and all the disciplines therein.

Who we are:

The Marshall County Arts Commission was chartered in 2003 by the Marshall County Fiscal Court and is incorporated, operates by a set of By-laws and is recognized by the Internal Revenue as a qualified 501©3non-profit charitable organization.

Governed by an eleven member volunteer board, the Commission conducts open monthly business meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month.

The 6800 sq. ft. Children’s Art Activity Center opened in the spring of 2014. This facility located at 1202 Elm St. Benton, KY serves as the central operating location for the programs and activities of the Arts Commission.
